Swiss tuner Sportec has announced the SP580 program now available for the Porsche Cayenne II Turbo.
First up is the engine tuning which features an ECU-remap that makes the 4.8 liter V8 turbo good for 580 PS (427 kW / 572 bhp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque over the series’ 500 PS (368 kW / 493 bhp) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft). As a result the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.4 seconds compared to the series’ 4.7. Top speed also gets a modest upgrade to 285 km/h (177 mph) from the production 278 km/h (172 mph).
The Cayenne Turbo gets fitted with a stainless-steel rear muffler and 90 mm tailpipes while the brakes are beefed up by the 6-piston calipers at the front axle and 4-piston calipers at the back, both with ventilated discs.
For the ride are the in-house 22-inch Mono/7 forged wheels in 10.5 x 22 dimensions with 295/30 ZR22 Michelin tires. The air suspension on the Cayenne Turbo is lowered by 30 mm by means of the electronic suspension control module.
